The paradigm shift: i just feel like there is more
I’ve been speaking to clients, friends, and colleagues lately who have all shared a resounding desire – “I just feel like there is more.”
They’re feeling this inner urge to do something different in their lives – specifically their career
- Fear-based to love-based
- Overworking and burnout to flow and ease (with impact)
- More soul aligned
- Contribute to society and have an impact
- Trust their inner guidance
- Speak their truth
- And have fun – to do work that feels like an expression of who they are
We are living in transitional times. What we see today, the way life is, will not be the same in the future.
With the advent of AI, the changing economy, and the overall shift in how we approach work the changes are rapidly upon us.
Your inner guidance is there nudging you in ways to support your growth and thinking during this shift. Listen. American Capitalism is rooted in codependent models of oppression – specifically slavery and colonialism both justified by racism.
Racism inherently is a codependent model which fuels the oppressors lack of inner worth and ‘enoughness’ by feeding off of those they aim to oppress.
The continuance of these models and structures, evident in modern society – in corporate structures, leadership, and the way we engage wit each other — are now dying as new paradigms replace them.
It is time to heal the foundation and crux in which the American economy (and arguably capitalism) is built on. It is leading to illness on pervasive levels that we don’t talk about enough – illnesses such as autoimmune disease, depression, and anxiety are more rampant than ever.
As a collective everyone loses and the planet suffers, while many companies give lip service to humanity while prioritizing profits at the expense of people stil

Let’s be honest – everyone loves a profitable year — but is it really enjoyable when it comes at the expense of one’s own health or another’s well-being.
This isn’t an either or conversation – money or people, good economy or health planet, workaholism or no impact.
It only feels and seems that way through a codependent lens. One of the key symptoms of codependency as define by Pia Mallory is black and white thinking.
Another one being sourcing esteem from outside (power of another, wealth, accolaides) of you vs within. A norm in ‘high performing’ environments – top colleges and universities. elite firms and tech companies, and even in K-12 environments where students stress over grades and performance at ages as young as 5.
The crazy thing about all of this, is none of it cultivates our highest performance. It forces a level of performance, sometimes even damn good, through a human life until they fall sick, burnout, or opt-out (many more are doing the latter).
While the basic life principles of treating each other well, compassion, empathy, and positive regard which truly cultivate the inner genius of an individual – are undermined and treated as a luxury or option vs a basic core value.
What would it be like if we transformed the very foundation in which our society were built on?
