Embracing Aligned Living: A Path from Fear to Love in Work and Life

Listen to the urge…it is time for a new day with more aligned living. Fear has long been the driving force behind many people’s actions and decisions. However, now we stand at a pivotal moment in our collective consciousness—it is time to embrace love as our primary motivation.

This call for change resonates with numerous women and a few men whom I have had the privilege of speaking with. A common sentiment they all share is the feeling that there must be more to life. This inner yearning for something different is especially pronounced when it comes to their careers.

So, what are the key points that encapsulate this desire for a more aligned and fulfilling life? Let’s explore them further:

Fear-based to love-based

The shift from fear to love as our driving force is crucial. Instead of making decisions rooted in fear—fear of failure, fear of judgment, or fear of scarcity—embodying love allows us to act with compassion, authenticity, and a deep sense of purpose.

Get actionable

  • Start by identifying your fears and limiting beliefs that may be holding you back. Challenge and reframe them to focus on love, growth, and possibility.
  • Cultivate self-compassion and practice self-care to nurture a loving relationship with yourself.
  • Make decisions based on what truly aligns with your values, passions, and purpose rather than succumbing to fear-driven choices.

Overworking and burnout to flow and ease (with impact)

The prevailing culture of overwork and burnout is no longer sustainable. People are seeking a new way of being, where they can tap into a state of flow and experience a sense of ease in their work. This shift allows them to make a meaningful impact without sacrificing their well-being.

Get actionable

  • Prioritize self-care and set boundaries to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Identify your areas of passion and strengths. Look for opportunities to align your skills and interests with your career.
  • Seek out work environments that prioritize well-being and encourage a state of flow, where you can fully engage and find joy in your tasks.

More soul-aligned

Many individuals are yearning for work that aligns with their true essence. They want to pursue careers that resonate with their values, passions, and natural talents. By embracing their soul-aligned path, they can find greater fulfillment and a sense of wholeness in their professional lives.

Get actionable

  • Reflect on your values, interests, and the activities that bring you the most fulfillment. Consider how these can be integrated into your career.
  • Explore different industries, job roles, or entrepreneurial opportunities that resonate with your soul’s calling.
  • Seek guidance from mentors, coaches, or career counselors who can help you navigate the process of aligning your work with your authentic self.

Contribute to society and have an impact

The desire to contribute meaningfully to society and make a positive impact is a driving force for many individuals. They want to be part of something larger than themselves and use their skills and talents to create positive change in the world.

Get actionable

  • Identify causes, social issues, or areas of society that deeply resonate with you. Find ways to contribute your time, skills, or resources to make a positive impact.
  • Volunteer for organizations aligned with your values and goals.
  • Consider starting a social enterprise or joining a purpose-driven company that prioritizes social and environmental impact.

Trust their inner guidance

In this time of transition, trusting one’s inner guidance becomes crucial. Intuition, gut feelings, and a deep connection to one’s inner self serve as valuable compasses for navigating the complexities of this shifting landscape. Listening to and honoring this inner guidance leads to a more fulfilling and purposeful journey.

Get actionable

  • Practice mindfulness and self-reflection to connect with your inner self and intuition.
  • Create quiet moments for meditation, journaling, or simply listening to your thoughts and feelings.
  • Actively seek out and pay attention to synchronicities, signs, and moments of inspiration that guide you towards your desired path.

Get out of their own way

Often, self-limiting beliefs, doubts, and fears hinder our progress. Breaking free from these constraints allows individuals to step into their full potential. By releasing self-imposed limitations, they can embrace new opportunities, take risks, and chart a path that is true to their heart.

Get actionable

  • Challenge your self-limiting beliefs by questioning their validity and reframing them with empowering thoughts.
  • Surround yourself with a supportive network of friends, mentors, or like-minded individuals who encourage and uplift you.
  • Take small steps outside of your comfort zone, gradually expanding your boundaries and embracing new opportunities for growth.

Have fun – work as an expression of self

Work should not be seen as a burden but rather as an opportunity for self-expression and enjoyment. By aligning their work with their authentic selves, individuals can infuse joy, creativity, and a sense of play into their professional endeavors.

Get actionable

  • Identify your unique strengths, talents, and interests. Look for ways to incorporate them into your work.
  • Experiment with different hobbies, side projects, or creative outlets that bring you joy and allow for self-expression.
  • Seek environments or create a work culture that values creativity, encourages autonomy, and allows space for enjoyment.

We are indeed living in a time of profound transition. The world as we know it is undergoing significant changes due to the advent of artificial intelligence, shifts in the economy, and evolving work dynamics. Amidst this backdrop of transformation, your inner guidance acts as a compass, gently nudging you towards growth and new ways of thinking. It is essential to pause, listen, and trust these intuitive whispers that guide you towards a more aligned and fulfilling life.

Remember, implementing these key points is a journey that requires self-awareness, courage, and patience. Start with small steps and be open to the transformation that aligning your life and work with love can bring.

In summary, embracing love as our driving force, seeking flow and ease, aligning with our soul’s calling, making a meaningful impact, trusting our inner guidance, letting go of self-imposed limitations, and infusing joy into our work are all key elements of this new era of aligned living. The time for change is now, and by heeding the call, we can embark on a path that truly reflects who we are and brings us a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Happy Lunar New Year! I have to say honoring this cycle of going within from the Winter Solstice to the New Year has felt amazing.

I’ll continue to move slow. I find I’m more productive when I do, anyway.

I am excited to be returning to a normal posting schedule. It’s been very light the last 6 weeks.

I also have some super dope announcements that I’m excited to share.

More soon. Here’s a short video sharing some insight into my personal process the last 6 weeks.

It’s been deep y’all. I honestly feel like years have gone by. That’s how energetically far I am from where I was at the end of December.

Let’s welcome the year of the Tiger.🐯 My word for 2022 is Self-Actualization.👑🎉

Today I made a hibiscus tea with ginger, sugar, and honey. Hibiscus is used in some cultures to lower blood pressure while ginger and honey are natural antibiotics.

True Story: I once had a really bad toothaches and my oral surgeon was out of town on Vacay. I knew it was infected and he would want to pull it when he saw it. I literally chewed on ginger (most of the day) and ate honey multiple times/day. It not only relieved the pain significantly (bc it was fighting the infection) but when my oral surgeon saw me he said, “I’m going to pull it. You’re lucky it’s infected but not too bad. If it were worse I’d have to give you antibiotics and you’d have to come back I get it pulled.” I told him it was worse but I had been chewing on ginger bc I knew it would need to be pulled. He looked at me like I was crazy while his assistant (who was up on game) smiled and nodded. #naturalremedies #selfhealing
